Cult of the Stream
The streaming-era sibling to Cult of the Disc — a queue, a chronicle, a mood journal for what you actually watch.
- Prototype. The COD ritual ported to ephemeral media. Cross-linked with the Disc, but its own thing.
Cult of the Stream is the question on the other side of Cult of the Disc made into a working app. If the Disc is a confessional for owning, the Stream asks whether the same ritual — logging, ranking, building a self-portrait out of taste — survives when the artifact is something you only ever rent. So there’s a Queue instead of a Vault, a Chronicle of what you finished, a Mood Journal for why you reached for it, and a Matchup for the contests memory keeps having with itself. The two sites cross-link on purpose — they’re two halves of the same question about how taste accretes.
